Aug 30, 2012  I do wish that this app had more features that the Smart Board software has. I would like to lock a text box but still allow it to move. I would like to make backgrounds on pictures transparent. It would also be nice to enable links. Any chance for these features in an update? • To save your notes, remove the “Projection” label from the pen tray using the tip of a ball point pen, and make sure that “Whiteboard Mode” is revealed in the recessed slot. The upper pen tray button is configured to open a new page of notes in your digital notebook, while the bottom pen tray button can print your current notes onto a page. You can also save or open a new page of notes as usual with the Notebook software.

The new Gallery keyword search helps teachers quickly find content. The Gallery has expanded to include My Content, which is a personal workspace; SMART Gallery content, which can be shared on a school network; and an online resource section, allowing teachers to make the most of Internet resources, either their own or SMART’s. SMART Board software 9.5 also features thousands of objects in the Gallery, including over 500 new images, backgrounds, audio, video and Flash files. It also contains digital content from content providers, including Intel® Skoool™, Espresso Education and Daydream Education.
